Dave Wood
REALTOR®

As a life-long Cantabrigian, Dave has a depth of knowledge and perspective of the City and its surrounding communities that is unique among Realtors. He has deep roots in Cambridge real estate. His mother was a broker in the early 1960s and his grandfather built a two-family house in North Cambridge.

Dave’s careers in journalism, public service, marketing and corporate public relations have provided him with a wealth of skills and experience to interact with people from all backgrounds and from all over the world. As a result, clients can be assured of timely communication from a professional who is a good listener and an advocate for their best interests.

Having worked in many fast-paced and deadline driven environments, Dave is well suited to manage his clients’ transactions skillfully and smoothly, removing as much stress and worry from the process as humanly possible. His goal is to provide his clients with a buying or selling experience that allows them to concentrate on moving their household and family rather than worrying about the details of the transaction.

As a former reporter covering transportation, Dave keeps up with development issues and projects in and around the City that could affect property values and the demand for housing in the neighborhoods. Dave is involved in the Cambridge community as a member of the Agassiz/Baldwin Neighborhood Council and is a board member of the Cambridge Camping Association (CCA) which provides summer programming to low-income youth.
